What this job involves: As a Car Parking Attendant at JLL, you\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service in our parking facilities across our Rolls-Royce contract at Raynesway, Derby. You\’ll be the face of JLL, greeting clients and visitors with a warm smile while efficiently managing vehicle flow and maintaining a safe parking environment.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Monitor and control vehicle access to designated JLL-managed parking facilities
- Issue parking permits and collect fees where applicable
- Provide clear directions and parking assistance to tenants and visitors
- Maintain security and safety within the car park
- Conduct regular patrols of the parking facility
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve parking-related issues professionally
- Ensure parking regulations are followed and take appropriate action when necessary
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns through proper channels
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and ensure parking areas remain clean and presentable
- Liaise with property management teams regarding any operational issues
- Able to work as part of a Team or on own when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid UK driving licence preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanour
- Strong communication abilities
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout shifts
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
- Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to parking facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parking operations or customer service roles in the UK
- Knowledge of UK traffic laws and local council parking regulations
- Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic computer applications
