Knowledge and application of technical skills to operate machinery safely and effectively in order to meet the production plan. The machine operator will perform a series of routine tasks: quality checks, keeping machines running, organising of parts.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and daily machine checks ensuring all equipment is working to peak performance.

Report malfunctions or technical repair requirements in a timely manner.

Following a production schedule and ensuring products are produced on time and to the highest of standard.

Ensure H&S policies and Company procedures are always followed.

Maintain a level of Daily housekeeping.

Also be willing to do overtime if necessary due to high demand for our furniture at certain peak periods.

Be willing to do other tasks within the workshop if required
You need to have had previous experience with a similar role and be competent in the operation of a series of machines in order to fulfil the role., * Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Experienced on Biesse CNC , preferred (But not essential).

Have an eye for detail and quality, as products must be finished to a high standard.

Be able to follow instructions well.

Have the ability to work using their own initiative as well as part of a team.

Be self-motivated, flexible and reliable.
