Overview:
We’re partnered with one of the UK’s most ambitious and forward-thinking finance brokerage, a business known for its energy, innovation and results. As they continue to scale, we’re looking for a proven HR Manager to lead their people strategy and drive business growth.
For the right individual, this is a chance to take full control of the business HR department, lead it from the ground upwards, and become a crucial part of shaping the future of the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive the development and implementation of core HR policies, processes, and people systems
- Serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and career progression frameworks
- Oversee performance management, including appraisals and individual development plans
- Promote a positive culture through wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programmes
- Manage complex employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary matters
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll data in collaboration with an external payroll provider
- Ensure full compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR, and internal policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation, employee records, and reporting systems
What you’ll need:
- CIPD Level 7 (completed)
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience within an SME or fast-growing organisation
- Previous experience in a finance brokerage or lending environment is highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution and hands-on delivery capabilities
- Confident working autonomously and influencing senior stakeholders
- Desirable: Background in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment
