Job Description

Overview\\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for Plumbers/HIU Engineers on behalf of a national provider of sustainable heating solutions.\\n\\nOperating for over 35 years, they have hundreds of staff working for them across multiple offices in the UK.\\n\\nTheir services include the design, installation, maintenance and management of plant rooms and heat networks on behalf of local authorities, universities, factories, housing associations, private landlords and utility energy suppliers.\\n\\nThe Service Engineer will be responsible for installing and commissioning HIU’s and carrying out plumbing works on new build residential sites. The ideal candidate will have a plumbing background and have knowledge of HIU’s. The company will also provide training.\\n\\nThis is a permanent position, covering London, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

The salary is paying £42,681 per annum. Other benefits include van & fuel card which can be used for private use, paid door to door travel time, annual bonus, overtime which is paid at x1.66, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, private healthcare, training schemes and development opportunities. There is a also a call-out rota.

The stand-by fee for Monday to Friday is £30 per night and it is £60 per night for Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n * Response service fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.\\n\\n * Planned preventative maintenance works.\\n\\n * Planned on site new installation product commissioning works.\\n\\n * To deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.\\n\\n * Working Health & Safety Practice.\\n\\n * Take part in the on-call rota.\\n\\nSkills & Qualifications\\n\\n * Engineering qualification to a minimum NVQ level within a related field.\\n\\n * Current technical background, preferably building services engineering related.\\n\\n * Ability to work independently and unsupervised.\\n\\n * Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry.\\n\\n * Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.\\n\\n * Full UK Driving License.\\n\\nNote:- Apex Resourcing Solutions are acting as an Employment Agency
