IT Operations Manager
West Yorkshire/Travel to other sites
£50K (6 month FTC)
An IT Operations Manager is required for our education client. The successful candidate will support the IT Director in delivering a robust, scalable IT infrastructure aligned with the organisation's strategic goals-focusing on professional development, digital innovation, sustainability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems- Maintain secure, efficient IT systems
Oversee Office 365, communication systems, backups, and compliance
Lead IT support desk operations
Manage and develop IT staff across sites
Support curriculum delivery through IT
Enhance digital presence (websites, signage, social media)
Deliver IT training and ensure policy compliance
Stay current with tech trends and safeguarding requirements
Communicate updates, attend events, and travel across sites
Experience required-
Essential
Level 4+ ICT qualification
Full driving licence
Strong technical skills (networking, security, AD, Office365)
Strategic planning and communication abilities
Desirable
Degree-level qualification, specialist certifications
