Guidewire Developer
Location: London/Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
A Guidewire developer is required for a leading Lloyd\’s of London Insurance organisation, implementing a Guidewire Claims system. This is to join a brand-new team onboarding and implementing a Guidewire Claims system. You will have experience working with Guidewire, across either PolicyCenter BillingCenter or ClaimsCenter.
As this is an initial migration and implementation you will be essential in assisting the organisation migrate from their existing claims platform to Claims Center which will be hosted in Guidewires Cloud. Ability to interact with stakeholders and to be involved in decisions affecting the implementation due to go live in 2026 is essential. You will have experience customising Guidewire in Gosu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Guidewire customisable layer for insurance platforms in Gosu and Java.
- Experience with Guidewire for Policy Center, Claims Center or Billing Center
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong development skills in Gosu for Guidewire (3-5 years of experience).
- Experience in programming languages such as Java or C#.Net
- Familiarity with insurance industry standards and protocols.
