Job Description

We are looking for a Scrub Nurse in Wetherby to join a leading specialist in Ophthalmic services in a state of the art service, with a salary up to £40,000 and other amazing benefits including 33 days annual leave, generous pension and more!
You dont need Ophthalmic experience as full training is provided but MUST have scrub experience. If youre looking for a great work life balance then this job is for you! The shift pattern for this Scrub Nurse role is full-time Monday Friday (occasional Saturdays but very rare)
As a Scrub Nurse / Theatre Practitioner, you will be:

  • Accountable for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway.
  • Providing excellent care to all patients.
  • Providing skilled clinical and technical help as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Involved in peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital.

As a Scrub Nurse you will receive:

  • An annual salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience.

The ideal person for this role will:

  • Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
  • Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
  • Have previous experience in theatre, at least of one year.
  • Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
