An exciting opportunity has arisen for Personal Assistants to provide support to a twelve-year old boy with additional needs within his own home and to access the local community.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include support with personal care including getting ready for / changing after school, toileting and showering. You will support to enable the personβs independence by assisting with feeding, helping them to maintain daily personal hygiene and with supervision and safety when accessing their local community. You will be required to assist with social activities including going swimming, trampolining or to the park or completing arts and craft for example.
We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential. You must have excellent communication skills.
A driver with a full license is required and you must have access to your own vehicle. Mileage will be provided.
The position available is upto 26 hours per week term time and upto 34 hours out of term time with an hourly rate of between Β£12-Β£15 depending on experience and 5.6 weeks paid annual leave. Hours can be flexible to applicant however support will be required in the hours before and after school during term time
