The successful candidate will support managers and directors in delivering high-quality tax advisory services, manage their own portfolio of private clients, and help develop team members in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist managers and directors in providing specialist tax advice to a range of private clients.
- Manage a client portfolio, ensuring delivery of high-quality work on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for further tax planning and advisory work.
- Support and develop junior team members, including performance management and regular check-ins.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to scope assignments and ensure operational goals are met.
- Contribute to business development through networking, tender writing, and participation in marketing activities.
Candidate Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CTA qualified, or ATT qualified with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience in private client tax.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering tax assignments to a high standard.
- People management and coaching experience.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads efficiently.
- Self-motivated and committed to continuous technical development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
