ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts 02540 (Cape Cod)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (ER)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: August 25, 2025
- End Date: November 22, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 7pm – 7am, every other weekend, rotating holidays
- Shift Length: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100 – $2250 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER travel nursing experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Completion of Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
- Proficient in I.V. administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
- Strong English communication skills
- Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, PALS certifications and de-escalation course
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide emergency patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Develop and initiate care plans, communicating with allied healthcare providers
- Demonstrate leadership as charge nurse and serve as a resource for ER staff
- Participate in staff meetings, mandatory programs, and ongoing professional development
- Follow safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Represent the hospital positively within the community and ensure patient confidentiality
- Deliver service excellence to patients, families, and colleagues
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
