QUALITY INSPECTOR AND ASSEMBLER The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection. Experience with Marine Turbocharger arena Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities: Detailed inspection of all components upon entry using onsite precision measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers etc… Pre-process and final inspection checks of assembled components Assembling of components according to internal processes (will be taught within the role) Balancing of rotors Calibration logging of tooling and inspection Recording information for audit purposes Carrying out internal audits (this item is progressive and will be taught within the role) Traceability and process improvement management The following skills are required Attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications. Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines. Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team.
