We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Rye Hill, working as a Careers Information, Advice & Guidance (CIAG) Advisor. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information
HMP Rye Hill Prison is located in the rural setting of Willoughby, which is situated near Rugby in Warwickshire. It is a Category C prison that houses adult male inmates. The prison\’s regime, facilities, and support services are designed to address the diverse needs of its population, promoting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending rates. The prison\’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Level 4 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification (or work towards and achieve within 12 months)
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
- Relevant experience of delivering careers guidance, using guidance tools, conducting assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups inline with Matrix and Ofsted expectations.
- Experience of motivating and inspiring disadvantaged individuals to set and achieve ambitious career goals.
- Experience of collaborating with partners and stakeholders to support individuals to realise their goals and continuously improve the service.
- Achievement of performance targets
- Accurate and timely reports
