MFL Teacher Location: Huddersfield Pay Scale: £140 to £190 per Day Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full Time The Role: GSL Education’s South Yorkshire branch is actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL (Modern Foreign Language) Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School in Huddersfield. As an integral member of the team, the teacher will provide high-quality language instruction and create a supportive yet exciting environment for language learning. This role will play a crucial role in fostering a love for languages and cultures among the students, helping them develop their linguistic skills and broaden their global perspectives. The successful candidate will: Plan and deliver interactive MFL lessons to students in secondary levels. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence. Plan and implement creative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Support students in their preparation for competitive exams and language certifications. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s MFL curriculum and extracurricular activities. Requirements: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages. Proven track record of delivering excellent teaching experience as an MFL Teacher in a secondary school or within an educational setting. Solid knowledge of the UK MFL curriculum and assessment frameworks. Proficiency in one or more modern foreign languages. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with efficient classroom management skills. Currently residing in the UK. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service. Passion for education and student support.
