Job Title: Weekend Multi-skilled Maintenance FittersHours: Basic working hours are 37 hours per week on two shift rotationDay Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6am to 6pmNight shift: Friday: 6pm to 12am Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 6pm to 6amSalary breakdown:£30,731.94 + shift prem £7,682.99 annual salary £38,414.93After successful probationary£31,366.65 + shift prem £7,841.66 annual salary £39,208.31ProfileWe are lucky to be working with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Nickel, Titanium and Steel alloy forgings for the aerospace, defence and energy sectors. A vacancy has arisen for weekend multi-skilled Maintenance Fitters to join their team based in Livingston. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who would like to continue their career within an exciting and progressive manufacturing facility.This role will be an integral part of the wider Maintenance team. Applicants must be time served in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline. EducationHNC in an Engineering related subject being desirable.Responsibilities
  • Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance activities on manufacturing plant and equipment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a background within heavy engineering industry or be able to show versatility in quickly absorbing the detail of new manufacturing operations combined with well-rounded experience.
  • Be able to work under their own initiative.
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
  • You must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Be able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces.
  • Have basic IT skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of High voltage distribution systems is also desirable
  • 4 Years Experience
