Key Responsibilities: – Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene. – Take customer orders with a friendly and efficient approach. – Maintain a clean and organised workspace. – Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Essential Skills and Experience: – Proven experience working in a café environment, engaging with customers, take orders, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in all three cafés. – Assist with the operations of the café including cash handling, also opening and closing. – Undertake all cleaning rotas in the café, kitchen and related areas. – Competent barista skills, including the preparation of various coffee beverages. – Excellent customer service abilities, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere. – Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. – Applicants must have a valid driving licence and own transport to allow for travel to each venue. Important Details: – Hours : 28 hours per week, covering Monday to Friday – Pay Rate : £12 per hour – Location : Rotating between three cafes in West Lothian. – Schedule : Rota provided one month in advance. – Experience : Must have previous café and barista experience is essential. This role is perfect for someone who is not only skilled in catering but also driven by a desire to make a positive impact.
