We\’re looking for a friendly, versatile and dynamic individual to join our busy team of Business Support Assistants. The role, whilst at times can be demanding, is extremely rewarding. Your hard work and dedication can help to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people who depend on support from Children\’s Social Care.
The post holder will provide business and administrative support within Children’s Social Care.
This includes, but is not restricted to:
- Monitoring workflow in the business support inbox
- Managing calls from service users, colleagues and other providers
- Attending and note-taking team meetings
- Performing statutory checks and issuing reference / medical requests
- Processing expense claims
- Ordering ICT equipment, raising purchase orders, co-ordinating deliveries etc.
- Supporting our social worker colleagues with capturing essential data and accurately maintaining statutory records.
At each level, post holders will be expected to undertake any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade which will assist the Directorate in meeting its objectives or contribute to the post holder\’s personal development.
