The Company OXBO are delighted to be working with a UK based Solar, BESS & Onshore Wind IPP to add a Development Manager to the team. Working in a development team of more than 15 industry experts made up of Land Acquisition Specialists, Grid Specialists, and Planning Specialists, this company are incredibly well set up to bring to market their impressive pipeline of Solar, BESS and Onshore Wind Projects. The Role Assess, appoint, instruct and project manage internal resources & key consultants to successfully develop Solar, BESS & Onshore Wind projects through to RTB (e.g planning, legal, communications); To lead by example utilising Project Management tools (Monday, MS Project etc) to document, coordinate & communicate tasks with delivery deadlines. To ensure tasks get done, on time, with the correct quality of detailed content. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key project delivery stakeholders including landowners, Solicitors, Govt or Local Council Planners & community interest groups etc. Lead from the front within Community Engagement, hearing concerns and convincingly explaining realities; Reporting to management team on a monthly basis as regards project delivery progress, DEVEX and Risks. Responsibilities As a Development Project Manager, you will likely have the following skills and experiences: Be a thoroughly organised, self-motivated, team-player, have motivational communication skills and exhibit a detailed, structured way of working. Possess a deep, 1st hand insight into the complexities of utility scale solar development, earned over a minimum of 3 years of experience in utility-scale Renewable Energy development project management You will be detail oriented, be a charismatic team leader and stickler for following up that task are properly completed You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the company\’s Solar & BESS Portfolio You’ll be skilled with MS Office and confident in presenting project progress to an experienced management team. Have an astute commercial awareness of how, development choices, design decisions and equipment specifications can affect the value of a project.
