A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Supply Chain Analyst to join an exciting and rapidly evolving branded food business.
Driven by a culture of innovation, ambition and entrepreneurship, this amazing brand bring delicious products to health conscious consumers. To help them grow they have created a new role for a talented, engaging and tenacious Supply Chain Analyst to join the team.
The role will be based at the company\’s HQ in central London with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain you will be a key member of the Operations Team and help support a range of operational and supply chain activities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Stockholding management and order placement with manufacturing partners
- Oversee stock management of raw materials and finished product
- Day-to-day management of manufacturers and third-party logistics service providers to ensure continual supply of products to all customers
- Work with the commercial team to co-ordinate demand forecast and production planning between retailers and manufacturing partners
- Support Supply Chain Manager in various reporting of key business and retailer KPI metrics
- Support the Supply Chain manager in managing and reducing waste within the supply chain.
As well as supply chain responsibilities you will also supporting business development:
- Identify efficiency opportunities within the supply chain ways of working
- Support internal departments through value-adding analysis and reporting
- Actively participate and support gate process for any new products
- Support setup process for product innovation and existing product development to ensure smooth launches
- Support internal teams to develop and manage sustainable supply chain solutions for new channels, markets and products.
The Person
We are looking for an ambitious, logical thinking supply chain analyst with some food manufacturing experience, ideally with a food / drink brand or with a retailer. Chilled or frozen product experience would be great.
Your communication and organisation skills will be second to none as you’ll liaise regularly with with internal colleagues, retail customers, manufacturing and logistics partners. You\’ll need to be highly proficient in excel, have great analytical and data manipulation skills along with the ability to pick up new systems / processes quickly. Strong attention to detail is a must so a keen eye and rigorous approach is essential.
