About the Role:
Are you a creative and technically skilled individual passionate about digital learning? NEXT is looking for an e-Learning Specialist to join our Talent & Development team at our Head Office in the UK! This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on our learning landscape and contribute to building an innovative digital learning environment for Head Office team members.
As an e-Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and producing a wide range of engaging digital learning resources, including e-learning modules, animations, videos, interactive content, and various digital formats. You will utilize a diverse set of e-learning tools and software, translating learning objectives into effective storyboards and scripts, ensuring content is clear, concise, and aligns with instructional design principles.
You will also support the day-to-day administration of our Learning Experience Platform (LXP) by uploading, organizing, and maintaining content, and responding to user queries. Quality assurance and compliance will be key, as you\’ll be responsible for checking the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all developed learning materials before deployment. We encourage innovation and research, looking for someone who stays informed about new trends and contributes ideas for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and produce engaging digital learning resources, including e-learning modules, animations, videos, and interactive content.
- Utilize e-learning tools and software such as Adobe Express, G-Suite, Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline), and Vyond Animation.
- Translate learning objectives into effective storyboards and scripts.
- Support LXP administration, including content upload, organization, and maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of all developed learning materials.
- Stay informed about new trends and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in e-learning.
- Collaborate with the Digital Learning Lead and subject matter experts.
- Identify and address technical issues or design challenges.

About You:
Essential:
- Proficiency in some or all of: Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, Adobe Express), G-Suite (Google Vids), Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise).
- Demonstrable experience in storyboarding, scripting, and editing for e-learning content.
- Practical experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS/LXP).
- Ability to design and create engaging digital learning content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in Vyond Animation, Google Data Studio, Page Tiger.
- Experience capturing and editing video/film content for learning.
- Recognised L&D qualification (e.g., CIPD, LPI) or relevant certification in instructional design or e-learning development.
