We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, committed and hardworking person to join our medicine ward Reception team. This environment will provide successful candidates with opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge on our busy medicine wards. Motivated candidates will be supported to work with the clinical teams providing administrative and clerical support to the medical staff.
Main duties will be to answer the telephone, to provide administrative and clerical support and carry out general reception duties.

This is a substantive position offering flexible shifts providing Annual leave and Sickness cover. This is for evening shifts from Monday to Friday 3pm-7pm or 3.30pm – 3.30pm across all of the medicine wards.
To provide high quality reception services for the Trust and, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery and Customer Care, act as a first point of contact to patients, relatives or other members of the public.
The post holder is expected to organise their workload in accordance with the demands of the Department.
To co-ordinate his/her activities to ensure efficiency of service within the organisation. He/she should exercise initiative and it is vital that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
He/she cover other receptionists duties when applicable due to staff shortage/sickness/annual leave.
