Founded in 1977, Cumberland Group is now one of the leading Category 1 contractors in the high-end fit out and refurbishment industry. We have a Head Office based in Gidea Park and our own London based Joinery Workshop where we manufacture bespoke Joinery for our clients.
We are currently recruiting for a Handyperson to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role will involve travelling in and around London to carry out general maintenance works including but not limited to: small repairs, basic joinery, plastering, plumbing, electrics, snagging works, painting and decorating.
There may also be the need to carry out maintenance works at our office and workshop.
We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, is personable and professional, has a willingness to help the team, is reliable, and has good timekeeping.
A company van will be provided, but you must hold a full, clean UK license.
Core hours of work will be flexible depending on the needs of the business; however, standard hours are 8am-5pm with some occasional overtime required. You will be given a minimum of 40 hours every week.
Immediate starts available following successful interview.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience carrying out general maintenance work in commercial/retail environments
- Full, clean UK license
- Willingness to travel to jobs as per the needs of the business
This role is paying between £16.50 – £17.70 per hour.
