Trainee I&E Maintenance Technicians, trainee instrumentation electrical engineers are required for our top tier COMAH specialist engineering client based in Alton, In return there is an excellent salary package circa £40k-£45 dependant on skills and experience with full training, further qualifications plus overtime and excellent benefits including a large annual company bonus, generous holidays, an excellent 10% contributory pension scheme and gym allowance in a well established reputable growing company.

Apply now This is a challenging junior role that would suit a motivated Instrumentation and/or electrical engineer or I&E technician with some good instrumentation, electrical maintenance experience of plant equipment.
You must have controls or instrumentation electrical engineering qualifications, plant maintenance experience, low voltage knowledge experience as a base and they will train the rest.

The ideal trainee instrumentation electrical maintenance, I&E technician candidates will have the following skills and experience; Electrical qualifications or Instrument qualifications (apprenticeship trained, NVQ level 3, ONC in Electrical, Electrical or Instrument & Control Engineering) with a good working knowledge in electrical, instrumentation, instrumentation control Maintenance experience on equipment connected to the onsite plant the installed instrument and / or electrical equipment Low voltage experience LV and willing to be trained further on instrumentation or electrical Experience/ understanding of the workings of the Plant, Production, large production process plant or high risk industry or similareg worked in the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, live process plant, nuclear, hazardous live sites and refinery process plant industries Full UK driving licence and car to get to remote site and full eligibility to work without sponsorship now or in the futureafter a visas expire Experience or knowledge of DSEAR / ATEX regulations, High Voltage electrical systems, HV pressure lines is desirable Report directly to the Maintenance Manager, the purpose of this I&E maintenance technicians role is to carry out corrective (non routine) and preventative (routine) electrical & instrumentation maintenance, modifications and assisting operations at the production facilities.
