About the Role
We are recruiting for the role of a Social Worker in our Safeguarding & Support Team covering Warwick on a full‑time/permanent basis. The Family Help team are based at Myton Park, Warwick.
- Newly Qualified Social Worker – up to £41,438 (includes a £3,500 pro‑rated market supplement, subject to pension, tax and NI deductions. Ts&Cs apply. A Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 may be available if the relevant policy criteria are met).
- Experienced Social Worker – up to £52,210 (includes a £3,500 pro‑rated market supplement, subject to pension, tax and NI deductions. Ts&Cs apply. Plus, a Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 may be available if the relevant policy criteria are met).
Key Requirements
- Working hours – 37 hrs per week, with agile and flexible working options generally worked from 9am to 5.30pm Monday – Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
- Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.
- Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW)).
- In‑depth experience in children’s social work and experience of complex cases.
- Have excellent analytical skills with the ability to make well‑informed decisions.
- Can record and produce concise, effective, and accurate reports.
- Have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families.
