We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join the growing friendly Statom Plant team. If you take pride in your work and your employer, enjoy being out on the road – then we want to hear from you!
Location Thurrock (relocating to Barking within the next 12 months)
Working Hours Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00
Holiday 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
Salary £30k per annum
Requirements
Key responsibilities
- Delivery and collection of goods safely and efficiently to our job sites
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring that loads are secure at all times
- Follow scheduled instructions and routes, and meet delivery times
- Adhere to all site instructions and PPE requirements – safety is paramount
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry our vehicle checks
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Essential
Experience & skills required
- Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
- Good driving skills and road awareness
- Punctual, trustworthy, and self motivated
- Basic physical fitness (lifting may/will be required)
- Previous delivery experience to operational building sites is a bonus
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries
- Good understanding of English (verbal and written)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team, independently and under pressure
