What You’ll Do

  • Plan, design and deliver inclusive, high‑quality lessons across programmes.
  • Create engaging learning materials tailored to diverse learner needs.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner progress.
  • Guide academic and personal development through tutorials and pastoral care.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and engagement.
  • Keep course content current and aligned with industry standards.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance.
  • Work with colleagues and partners to enrich the learner experience.
  • Promote and uphold safeguarding, equality and health and safety policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant subject qualification (e.g. degree or equivalent).
  • Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
  • Ability to plan and deliver inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
  • Knowledge of subject‑specific pedagogy and current teaching practices.
  • Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
  • Confidence using digital tools to support learning.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality and ongoing professional development.
  • Hairdressing qualifications to a minimum of Level 3.
  • Evidence of recent industry updating/CPD.
