National Grid is hiring an Analyst for our Business Change Department in Waltham, MA/ Brooklyn, NY/ Syracuse, NY/ Melville, NY.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Analyst to support the Manager of Process and Performance Improvement in advancing the data analysis capabilities of the NY Gas Business and optimizing business processes. This role involves providing detailed and insightful data analysis, understanding various business drivers, and possessing the ability to encourage organizational change.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and foster a culture of innovation in the end-to-end process, advising leadership on the impact of existing policies, processes, and ways of working with stakeholders
  • Work with the leadership team to identify improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency
  • Provide support to solve complex system-wide problems
  • Collaborate with Gas Program Delivery project managers on initiatives and work with stakeholders to accomplish tasks and bring projects to completion
  • Assist the Manager and Director in the overall delivery of process performance and coordinate across the matrixed support functions of the organization

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in developing and analyzing key performance indicators and performing detailed analysis with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
  • Understanding of project or process management methodologies.
  • Change Management experience
  • Financial background.
  • Knowledge of gas utility operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Training and/or certifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Prosci, etc. preferred.

Salary

$82,000 – $97,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
