We are working with a leading international law firm to hire a Compliance Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Birmingham. In this role, you’ll be part of a centralised function focused on client due diligence and conflicts analysis, providing essential support to fee earners across the business.
The firm is looking for someone with experience in legal compliance within an international law firm, with a background in both AML and conflict checking.
The responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and reviewing client due diligence documentation
- Conducting detailed research using corporate databases and registries
- Advising on SOFs for transactional matters
- Managing queries from lawyers and support staff with professionalism
- Running and analysing conflict searches
- Reporting conflict search results to fee earners
- Resolving or escalating conflict issues where appropriate
They are seeking someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
