Are you looking for a flexible, part-time job that fits around school hours and family life? ASA is currently seeking Catering Assistants to join our team for part-time opportunities across Aberdeen. We have various locations available, including AB14, AB15, AB24, and AB25.
What We Offer:
- Weekly hours available with the following Mon-Fri shift patterns available: 930-1330, 1130-1400, 1145-1400 or 1100-1330
- Additional holiday accrual
- Term-time work ideal for those with school-age children
As a Catering Assistant, you\’ll work alongside the cook and other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth lunch service for local schools. Key duties include:
- Serving meals to pupils
- Cleaning the kitchen and operating dishwashers
- Assisting with food preparation as needed
- Using till equipment if required
- Practising safe food hygiene and correctly using kitchen equipment and cleaning agents
What We\’re Looking For:
- Preferably, experience in a kitchen environment, especially in a fast-paced setting
- PVG certification for Children (an update is required if you already have it)
- A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to interact well with both colleagues and pupils
