Probation Support Salary: £24,570 per annum (Pro-Rata) – Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews Role: Part Time working (upto 18.75hrs per week) Based in Gateshead – Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion) – locations may include Ashington, Berwick, Hexham, Newcastle, Sunderland, South Shields & Wallsend If successful you will be responsible for supporting individuals prior to and after release from prison, encouraging them stay motivated & comply with any/all probation requirements. What you will be doing? Successfully manage a caseload of Service Users (high level), supporting them throughout every stage of the process Assisting Probation Officers & Users on a 1-2-1 & Group basis Mentoring, Coaching & Skills Training Initial assessment & stakeholder engagement Deliver in a variety of venues including Ingeus community venues, Probation Offices & Police stations To be successful you require: Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people; utilizing strong interpersonal skills supporting individuals with ever-changing complex needs Evidence of Case Management (i.e dealing with…
