Job Introduction
Gleeson Homes is looking for a labourer to join our team. The role will involve carrying out all general duties as required by the Site Manager on a day-to‑day basis.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for servicing the needs of the development and responding to the instructions and requests of the Site Manager. Tasks range from assisting in unloading deliveries to cleaning the site canteen and staff welfare facilities, assisting in clearing properties prior to occupation, keeping the site tidy, storing materials in designated areas, and addressing sub‑contractor issues.
- Carry out all designated duties safely and responsibly.
- Advise the Site Manager when sub‑contractors leave properties in an unacceptable condition or for damage to materials on off‑load.
- Ensure sub-contractors wear correct PPE and comply with health & safety requirements.
- Undertake straightforward maintenance items in occupied properties in a clean, tidy, courteous and responsible manner.
- Deal with site security for individual units and the overall site.
- At all times comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous labouring experience.
- Up-to-date relevant industry knowledge.
- Willingness to attend additional training as required by statute or the company.
- Self‑motivated.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Reliable.
- Current CSCS card.
