We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Production Operative to join their Quality team as Quality Control Technician. The role will be based within the Abattoir and/or the Boning Hall. The role has great progression routes through the Quality department. Responsibilities will include but are not subject to: Visual carcass inspections and necessary trimming to agreed procedures and schedules Checking for contamination and advise department supervisors/QA of any issues on the production lines. Raise internal non-conformances when necessary and inform all relevant personnel . Complete daily inspection records Adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production Skills & personal qualities: Understand the importance of health, safety, and hygiene.
