JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker – MAT COVER
LOCATION: Blackley, Manchester (M9)
SALARY: £13.60 – £14.20* per hour
HOURS: 35 hours per week
SHIFTS: 8:30-21:00 and 2 weekends of a month
About Byron Lodge
Byron Lodge is a 14-bed residential service in Manchester dedicated to supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Our focus is on creating a positive and empowering environment that facilitates skill relearning while fostering full integration into the community.
Byron Lodge offer sector leading training and coaching to help their staff level up and further there career by learning new key skills, gaining a variety of excellent qualifications which can led to a vast number of progressment opportunities within the social care sector
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care for the people we support, in line with care and support plans
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Liaise with health professionals and their families
- Complete supervisions and audits
- To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
