Job Title:HGV Class 1 Night Driver
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on an ongoing basis. This is aMonday to Friday night positionwith a regular18:00 start time, mainly trunking to Normanton, Dalby, and Gloucester.
You will be delivering FLTs full training will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that really looks after its drivers and invests in their training and development.
Pay & Hours
- Minimum 9.5 hours paid per shift (no break deductions).
- £24.60 per hour after 9.5 hours.
- ALL PLUS HOLIDAY PAY
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles on nightly trunking runs.
- Deliver FLTs to key locations across the UK (training provided).
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate clearly with transport teams regarding schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
- CPC and Digi Card.
- Flexibility to complete regular night shifts starting at 18:00.
- Good understanding of road safety and compliance.
- Professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Successful completion of an assessment, including a drug and alcohol test.
