Join a dynamic, forward-thinking design team delivering advanced MoD projects that genuinely matter . In this role, you’ll be the technical authority — owning the design of complex digital and analogue electronics , driving integration, and ensuring compliant, high-performance solutions are delivered with confidence. What You’ll Be Driving Designing and developing digital & analogue circuits , PCBs, and complete electronic systems. Leading projects from concept through design, manufacture, and customer acceptance . Owning systems integration with hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, including test houses . Ensuring compliance with CE / UKCA, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards. Producing high-quality technical documentation — schematics, BOMs , and change notes. Presenting confidently at design reviews and leading technical discussions. What You’ll Bring Proven senior-level experience in digital and analogue electronics design . Strong proficiency with OrCAD (or similar schematic capture & PCB design tools). Solid understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance (UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, Safety). Excellent hands-on skills with strong systems integration and fault-finding capability. Degree in Electronics, Engineering , or an equivalent qualification. Current live UK Security Clearance (SC) — DV eligibility essential . Experience working with MoD customers and defence standards (Sonar experience is a strong advantage) . Confident communicator with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset. Why This Contract?
