The role also has a broader remit to ensure that other finance-impacting projects have appropriate change and programme controls in place for IT elements, ensuring that all relevant finance stakeholders are engaged at the right time. The Projects & Change Controls Manager – IT will principally report directly to the Projects & Change Controls Senior Manager.

You may also be asked to support the day-to-day delivery of some other short-term or long-term transformation IT elements of the ICFR project plan.
- Manage components of the internal and external support, if appropriate, to deliver the specific elements of the ICFR project plan according to the planned costs and timetable.

- Develop regular project management reporting on the status of IT programme and change controls for other finance-impacting projects.
- Represent the Internal Controls Transformation project team in stakeholder discussions on the topic of IT programme and change controls with the broader finance transformation programme, or with the leadership of other finance-impacting projects.
- Highlight potential challenges or revisions necessary to scope, timetable, resources or dependencies to the Projects & Change Controls Senior Manager.
- Identify improvement opportunities within the specific elements of the ICFR project plan that you are managing, both short-term and long-term, for example process changes or the automation of a particular control.
- Collaborate with IT Controls Transformation peers delivering other specific IT elements of the ICFR project and with the Internal Controls team, who lead management’s testing activities.
- If necessary, prepare briefing documents for the Group’s external auditors on the IT elements of the ICFR project plan that you are managing. Prepare, or review, the documentation showing the effective operation of programme and change controls for IT elements of the finance transformation programme and other finance-impacting projects.
- Collaborate with the teams of other key internal stakeholders who have ownership in some or all of the ICFR project plan, the finance transformation programme and other finance-impacting projects, to deliver the necessary transformation and address concerns they may have. This is likely to include teams reporting to Divisional CFOs and Divisional CIOs, and other senior members of the Group Functions such as Tax and Treasury.
