Sex and Relationship Project Coordinator

The Community Learning Disability Team is based at Mile End Hospital in Stepney, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities across Tower Hamlets. Our multidisciplinary team includes Social Workers, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, SALT, Physiotherapists, and Psychiatrists.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Community Learning Disability Team in implementing sex and relationship education sessions for individuals with learning disabilities. Responsibilities include triaging referrals, liaising with professionals, care recipients, families, organizing rooms and interpreters, and co-facilitating groups with team members.

You should be confident and enthusiastic about supporting adults with learning disabilities, including making reasonable adjustments to facilitate understanding and learning of relationship skills. Full training will be provided; experience working with adults with learning disabilities or other disabilities is advantageous. You will be supported by the multidisciplinary team within CLDS.

Please note: Salary is pro-rata.
