Our client is seeking an experienced Fleet & Compliance Manager to oversee the operations of a fleet of over 100 vehicles and trailers. The role involves leading a team of 7, including workshop and assistant managers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and managing budgets, maintenance schedules, and driver performance. The position offers a hybrid work model with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the named Transport Manager on the Operator Licence, ensuring legal compliance.
- Manage driver hours, tachograph regulations, and incident reports.
- Lead internal audits and maintain compliance processes.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance in coordination with the Workshop Manager.
- Plan budgets, control costs, and manage supplier contracts.
- Handle breakdowns, emergency repairs, and coordinate out-of-hours operations.
- Offer 28-30 days of holiday, based on tenure.
