Job Description Summary
GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.
Job Description
- Site management of warehouse
- Management of all site documentation and governance
- Ownership of inventory management system
- Processing inbound and outbound deliveries
- Producing reports and responding to information requests
- Management and governance of tools and assets
- Ordering consumables
- Administering stock control and stock checks
- Warehouse organization and structure
- Meeting targets and deadlines set by management
- Ensuring the site is kept to a clean and professional standard
- Monitoring security and health and safety procedures
- Maintaining site by initiating, coordinating, managing and enforcing site operations and enforcing company policies
- Responsible for ensuring mandatory site maintenance is in date
- ‘Leaning in’ to resolve urgent issues
- Visibility on site
- Management of site contractors
Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experiences as a site/stores team leader or manager
- Expertise in site management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement proess improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of site key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with site management software and databases
- Solid understanding and experience of WMS
Formal Training/Qualifications
- GCSE in English and Maths
- MHE training (desirable)
- Passport to safety (desirable)
- EHS accreditation (desirable)
- Management of contractors (desirable)
