I am working with a global specialty insurer where they are looking for a Senior Syndicate Accountant to join their team.
You will be pivotal in the end-to-end operations of the insurers syndicate, across financial controls, performance, regulatory performance and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Lloyd’s regulatory returns (QMA, QMB, QSR, ASR, US & Canadian SIS)
- Manage relationships with Lloyd’s, being a key point of contact for auditors and resolving any queries where needed
- Support the Syndicate FC with enhancing reporting systems and automation tools
- Lead the production of syndicate annual reports and accounts in line with Lloyd’s and UK GAAP requirements
- Support the Syndicate FC with presenting financial performance and risk insights
- Staying up to date on any changes with Lloyds regulatory returns and communicating this with team members and wider stakeholders
Personal Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years of experience in Lloyd’s syndicate finance
- Proven experience in managing complex regulatory submissions.
- Extensive experience in finance across the insurance industry
- Team player that is able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on complex regulatory information
