Section Manager (Nights) – Prepared Foods

We are looking for proactive Section Managers with a passion for working collaboratively, driving team performance and who have a commitment to continuous improvement!
Due to continued growth within our Prepared foods division, we are looking for 1 Section Manager for our RTC area and 1 Section Manager for our Despatch area. Both roles are important in the smooth running of the operation, and both come with different job requirements and responsibilities.
Shift pattern: Sunday – Thursday
Hours: 19.00 – finish
Salary:RTC Section Manager £44,775 per annum. Despatch Section Manager £42,161 per annum
What you will be doing?
- Manage all processes in your area to meet targets set by the business and to meet BRC, TFS, SMETA and other audit criteria.
- Oversee and lead all production in your area
- Labour planning and cost control (including agency workers)
- Manage the team in your working area (size of team depends on area)
- Drive profitability of production operation
- Understand and implement allergen awareness and controls (RTC only)
- Continuous Improvement
- Manage customer service levels to agreed targets
What we want from you?
- Previous experience in food manufacturing
- Proven ability to lead teams and get results
- Great understand of technical requirements
- IOSH certified
- Food safety level 3
