Overview
We\’re looking for an experienced, dedicated, and results-driven Account Handler to join our team.
Focussed on mentoring less experienced colleagues, sharing expertise to achieve goals, whilst ultimately putting the customer first.
Provide a quality service, acquire optimal retention numbers, and push for growth where appropriate.
How you\’ll make an impact
- Build documents for new customers, along with mid-term adjustments and renewals. Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered into the system in a timely fashion.
- Obtain renewal terms for customers, explore options before providing the best solution. Prepare renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensure cover is bound by renewal date.
- Handle insurer and customer queries about policies. Confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and chase outstanding documentation when required.
- Manage account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns to account managers.
- Apply legal and regulatory policies related to internal policies and insurance contracts as required.
About You
- Holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Dip CII or FIT is advantageous. Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with intermediate knowledge of general insurance, London Market, Lloyd’s, and industry products.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is required, especially working towards targets within a regulated framework and achieving SLAs.
- Risk-aware in handling customer information, customer-centric, focused on the best outcomes for clients.
- Due diligence, process-driven, deadline-oriented, results-focused, and proactive in assisting team members.
