Were working in partnership with a highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Essex, currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing Building Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a broad range of exciting and meaningful projects within the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, youll play a key role in leading the design and delivery of mechanical services across multiple live projects. Working alongside other engineers, architects, and stakeholders, youll bring innovative and sustainable solutions to the built environment.
Youll be involved from concept to completion, producing technical designs, managing client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design of HVAC and mechanical systems in line with project requirements and current regulations

- Ensure delivery of projects within budget and timescales
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent)
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward chartership with relevant institution (CIBSE, IMechE)
- Minimum 6 years experience in mechanical design within building services
- Proficiency with design software (e.g. Hevacomp, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, IES)
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
