Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. – THE ROLE – The postholder will support a healthy and safe working environment through the provision of expert advice and guidance on all aspects of fire safety and as appropriate generalist health and safety through the development and delivery of the Universitys HSW Management System. – ABOUT YOU – The postholder will be required to have: – A Degree or other equivalent professional qualification and eligible for membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) or other relevant external professional body by examination and experience. – Significant experience in a Fire Safety role in a large complex organisation.
