Have you graduated with a 2:1 or above? Are you an aspiring teacher hoping to gain classroom experience? This could be the ideal role for you!

A large primary school in Carterton is searching for an outstanding teaching assistant to join them ASAP. This is a fantastic school looking to take on someone as a trainee teacher in September 2025 if they impress during their time as a teaching assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity for graduates or experienced teaching assistants to develop their experience within education. A degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal, and previous experience working with children is essential. Relevant experience could include childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance, sports settings, charity work, or similar classroom environments.

Both teaching assistants will support in KS1 and KS2. This role provides a valuable platform for aspiring teachers to gain experience in preparation for teacher training the following year. The school offers the possibility for successful TAs to enroll in the School's Direct Teacher Training Programme.

A strong educational background is required, including GCSEs in Maths and English (C or above).
