An opportunity to be part of this prestigious project and lead the development and integration of our environmental and energy management system whilst meeting our client and stakeholder’s needs.

What will the role look like?

• Champion the implementation of the business sustainability strategy and develop and monitor project commitments

• Assure compliance with the LOR Energy and Environmental Management System on the project

• Provide technical advice and support to the project, client and contractors to identify and implement effective environmental management procedures and identify opportunities to implement best practice

• Support our project teams to embed our client’s and our own sustainability requirements within the project

• Review, advise and deliver environmental training required for project staff and operatives

• Engage with the workforce around environmental issues

• Ensure innovation and best practise are developed, implemented to address environmental issues and learning shared.

• Liaise with the appropriate statutory bodies on behalf of the project, obtain relevant consents to facilitate the works and maintain compliance with theseMonitor environmental performance and undertake

• Promote the reduction of energy use and carbon emissions

• Coordinate the delivery of environmental requirements on the projects

• Support the business in driving to push the boundaries of sustainability, helping us to achieve our ambition to be a net zero company delivering nature positive solutions with teams that represent our diverse society.

• KPI tracking and data gathering, weekly site inspections

Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and delivering projects? Experienced in providing environmental management with the ability to conduct client-facing engagement?, * High level of personal drive and commitment, with effective goal setting ability

• Be capable of meeting deadlines and prioritising activities

• Able to take strategic views of the environmental requirements and agree and implement resultant plans.

• Positive approach to the challenges of change, help others to become receptive and responsive to change

• Logical and well organised with the ability to prioritise

• Ability to communicate effectively at all management levels and to build and maintain good working relationships

• Understanding of the requirements of ISO14001 and ISO50001 and management of compliance with Management Systems

• Experience in delivery of BREEAM or LEED, similar sustainability assessment schemes, * Membership of IEMA, IES or IEEM (minimum of practitioner or equivalent desired)

• Relevant undergraduate degree in Environmental management, sustainability, environmental sciences or similar

• BREEAM AP
