Key Responsibilities:
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching English, Maths and/or ICDL to 16 and 17-year-old Junior Soldiers, managing up to 8 classes, providing cover for colleagues when needed, and invigilating examinations as required.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Qualified teacher status or a willingness to work towards it.
- L3 Qualification in the subject you will teach
Desirable:
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English/Maths and/or ICT,
- Experience working with the Military or other uniformed services
- Delivering Functional Skills to soldiers, knowledge or understanding of current educational developments
