Our client, a long-established family firm with a network of branches in the South and East of England, that supply machinery and services are looking for a Goods Inward Operative to join their team based near Sayers Common, West Sussex. Main Purpose of the Role: Reporting to the Parts & Retail Manager, your role will be to assist with the organising and control of the goods inward area, but also successfully distribute goods to other branches in an efficient and timely manner. This area must be organised and effectively arranged for quick and easy access to the Parts/Retail team. On Offer: * Competitive Salary * 32 days annual leave including bank holidays, Company Sick Pay Scheme, Workplace Pension, Employee Referral Bonus Scheme, Winter Flu Jab Service, Car Tyre Discount, Staff Discount in Country Stores and Death in Service Cover (2 x salary) * 30hrs per week – 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday * Immediate Starts Available * Part Time Role Duties and Responsibilities: * Transfer of stock into the stores and showroom * Unpacking branch \’bins\’ and processing supplier parcels * Loading and unloading of internal lorry * Management of customer delivery and collection shelves * Stock checking when required * Management of showroom stock * Provide efficient, effective and friendly customer service * Have an understanding of relevant goals and targets set for the parts department and branch * Follow company procedures and guidelines and appropriate health & safety measures whilst undertaking your role To Be Considered: * Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods * Good communication skills: face to face, letter, email and fax * General computer skills * Good numeracy and literacy skills * A team player-capable of working alone or with other team staff * Maintain a good general level of health and fitness * Able to work alone and on your own initiative * Full Driver\’s licence * Forklift Licence (desirable) For more details, please contact Willis Global – a leading Recruitment Consultancy for the Supply Chain & Logistics industry
