CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator in Liverpool, England.

Responsibilities and daily activities

  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all facilities‑related issues and queries.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including scheduling and supervising contractors and service providers.
  • Monitor building systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting, access control, fire safety) and report issues promptly.
  • Support health & safety compliance, including conducting regular site inspections and maintaining documentation.
  • Process facilities purchase orders and invoices, ensuring cost efficiency and budget control.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service contracts, and asset inventories.
  • Assist with space planning, office moves, and workstation setups.
  • Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy management projects.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or building coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Working knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office, CAFM systems).

Desirable

  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience managing service contracts and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of building systems or basic technical maintenance.
