MH1 – Sales Account Manager – Based Northamptonshire

Basic Salary £28,000 with OTE c £40,000 uncapped, plus benefits

Candidates must have a minimum of two years professional outbound telesales B2B experience. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Northampton.

My client is seeking ambitious sales professionals who are looking to build their careers within the B2B financial sector. Additional training, coaching, and mentoring will be provided.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will actively develop new and existing relationships with clients through professional telesales.

Your role will involve offering clients financial solutions such as asset finance, commercial loans, invoice finance, and property finance.

You will have sales support and access to diverse funders to help analyze financial needs and key documents.

You will contact potential clients through outbound calls, positioning financial solutions in a consultative manner, and passing qualified leads to the sales team.

This role requires a candidate with a natural flair for building good telephone rapport, alongside the ability to drive sales processes to completion and achieve key KPI targets in a highly competitive and lucrative environment.

Candidate Skills & Requirements

  • Professional outbound telesales experience of at least 2 years.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for sales.
  • Experience in a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) related industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely while building rapport and trust.
  • Resilient, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, meritocratic environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an interest in business.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter approach.
  • Adherence to the principles of treating customers fairly in all interactions.
  • Vigilance against fraud and money laundering, with prompt reporting of concerns.

Duties

  • Make outbound sales calls to establish rapport and interest with potential clients, building a pipeline and securing new business opportunities.
  • Qualify client interest through a consultative sales process to understand their commercial standing.
  • Record all sales activity on the CRM.
  • Knowledge of CRM Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of live opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals and compile credit applications.
