Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as an Instrument Packaging Operator within the Specialist Lab Diagnostics business line at our facility in Llanberis. This role supports a crucial strategic project for our SLS business line and Llanberis by developing and standardising packaging processes in line with internal manufacturing standards (IED). The role involves handling, labelling, and preparing shipments to ensure IMMULITE XPi, Versacell and spares are packaged for dispatch. You will collaborate with the instrument knowledge transfer team to develop best practices in workstation design and manufacturing flow for a smooth ramp-up and a world-class operation.
Responsibilities include working with quality standards and safety regulations to ensure compliant packaging and documentation.

- Job Responsibilities:
- You will be curious, keen to understand, learn and try new things, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Package parts and spares accurately according to specifications and customer requirements.
- Assist in managing inventory of packaging materials and report any shortages.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Label and document packaged items correctly for inventory and shipping purposes.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Participate in TS5QDIP meetings, provide accurate and timely reports, and take ownership for the achievement of target KPI\’s and operational performance for the role.
- Actively use business systems such as IED, CATSWEB, CERDAAC, SAP, Documentum & Learn4U.
- Ensuring compliance with QMS and all safety, health and environmental (SHE) legislation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- GDP & GMP (Good Documentation Practices & Good Manufacturing Practices).
Your Skills & Experience
- Experience with packaging of medical device parts or similar products.
- 3 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
